Before you send any food products to the United States, make sure that the following companies are registered with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (U.S. FDA).
- Foreign manufacturer
- Foreign distributor or warehouse
- Foreign exporter
- U.S. importer
Select ITB HOLDINGS LLC as your company’s U.S. Agent and get an FDA REGISTRATION NUMBER for $99.00 annual service fee.
Keep in mind that a U.S. Agent for the purpose of FDA Registration is not a Commercial Agent or Importer of Record.
You must obtain and provide a DUNS Number. No registration is possible without it. And, as always, we’ve got you covered.
Obtain a Prior Notice Confirmation Number to avoid the detention of your cargo by the U.S. Customs and the FDA.
Most of the time, FedEx, UPS or DHL will reject any shipment without this document.
Arrange to have your labels reviewed or updated before your next shipment.
Canadian, Mexican, European, Asian food labels are not FDA compliant.
We understand that shipping to Amazon warehouses in the United States is popular. With Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA), you store your products in Amazon’s fulfillment centers, and the company picks, packs, ships, and provides customer service.
However, there are some specific requirements. Click on the link below for additional information.
